Richard Augenti has worked in the IT field for 26 years with the last 11 years focused on Cloud Engineering, DevOps, and Automation. He’s worked on a variety of small to large scale projects including cloud migrations, cost and performance optimizations, design build projects, and a variety of custom consulting engagements.
Richard was an outstanding mentor for the Cloud Computing bootcamp I attended. His knowledge and passion for the subject helped keep me engaged and learning. His willingness to help each student, including holding Saturday and out of class lab sessions, allowed all the students to be successful.
Richard is extremely patient and helpful in explaining concepts and techniques to beginners. As a mainframe programmer/analyst who is just learning the bare-bones facts of cloud computing concepts, it is helpful to be guided by someone who empathizes how IT professionals feel when going into an entirely new field where their previous experience, however extensive, is of no use.
