Rivia LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company ("Rivia"), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Rivia collects, how it is used, how it is shared, and your choices. Rivia is a U.S.-based company and handles data onshore in the United States.
1. Information Rivia Collects
- Account information: your name, email, company, and the credentials you provide.
- Billing information: processed by Rivia's payment processor, Stripe. Rivia does not store full payment-card numbers.
- Cloud environment data: when you connect a cloud account, Rivia collects configuration, resource metadata, security findings, and cost data through scoped, read-only access. Rivia does not read the contents of your data stores through this access.
- Usage data: how you interact with the Platform, including log data, device and browser information, and IP address.
- Communications: information you provide when you contact Rivia or fill out a form.
2. How Rivia Uses Information
Rivia uses information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Offerings; process payments; communicate with you (service messages, support, and, where permitted or with your consent, product updates); detect and prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations.
3. How Rivia Shares Information
Rivia does not sell your personal information. Rivia shares information only with: service providers and subprocessors that help Rivia operate (for example, Stripe for payments and Rivia's cloud hosting provider); parties to whom you direct Rivia to share; when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and in connection with a business transfer. Rivia's subprocessors are engaged to handle data in the United States.
4. Data Location & Onshore Handling
Rivia stores and processes data in the United States. Rivia does not subcontract data handling offshore.
5. Data Security
Rivia uses reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including scoped access and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Rivia cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
Rivia retains information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Offerings, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce Rivia's agreements. You may request deletion as described below.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email support@rivia.io. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails.
8. Cookies
The Rivia website uses cookies and similar technologies for authentication, remembering preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work without them.
9. Children's Privacy
The Offerings are not directed to children under 18, and Rivia does not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided Rivia information, contact Rivia and it will be deleted.
10. Changes to This Policy
Rivia may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
